October Update!

Hello from Italy,

Here is what my month of October looked like.

We started off the month going on our Footsteps of Paul trip. This semester we went to Athens and Corinth, Greece. We spent a week sight seeing a lot of the Biblical story in Acts 17 & 18. In which Paul is recorded to have been in these two cities. We had the privilege to visit Mars Hill were in Acts 17 Paul debates the leading philosophers of the day about the existence of God. The following day we went to Corinth and saw the ancient ruins of Corinth. It really makes the Bible come to life when you can stand in the same spot where Paul stood. Incredible experience.

At the end of the month we had an outreach to one of the local elementary schools in Montebelluna. We had the opportunity to teach the kids English for a morning. The ages ranged from 5th graders to 2nd graders. It was blast to be able to use our native language to bless the community. We have been working with this school for a long time. Please continue to pray for the people here in Montebelluna. We have been able to share parts of the gospel however pray for a continued worked of the Spirit here in the hearts of the people.

I spent the rest of the month teaching the Evangelism and Discipleship class. We also finished the book of Habakkuk in the College Group and we are now moving into the book of Proverbs. Looking forward to what God has for this group in the next coming of days.

Thank you for your prayers I passed my exam for the drivers license!!!! I am on to the behind the wheel part of the process with the hope of being done and having a license by the first of December! Thanks again for all the support and prayer!

Please pray for the following:

  1. Finish the semester well : for unity and love within the student body!

  2. Continued raising up of young people in the College Group. That they would grow to love and serve God and people.

  3. Behind the wheel test at the beginning of December.

  4. Wisdom for the future and provision.
